Step Up for Better Living (SUBL) is hosting its first Community Resource Block Party on Wednesday, August 24th, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
This is a celebration of the opening of their new community resource center in the Mott Haven Section of the South Bronx. The Community Resource Center will be providing educational courses and support to our community.
Join us as we cut the ribbon at 1:00 pm and welcome you to this new facility that will benefit our entire community!
At this party, SUBL is giving away 700 FREE backpacks and providing free food, including hot dogs, snacks, beverages, and fun kids activities with a bouncy house, popcorn, cotton candy, and face painting.
There will be live music for people of all ages – hip hop, R&B, soul, salsa, merengue, and oldies.
Bring the family and invite your friends.
This is also an opportunity to connect with 31 of SUBL’s nonprofit partners, who will table their resources. NYC Deputy Speaker for the NYC Council, Diana Ayala, will also be speaking at the event.
