President

Bradley HamburgerBradley Hamburger is the president of the Step Up for Better Living (Step Up) board of directors, on which he has served for over 20 years. A senior vice president at Foa & Son, he has experience in all facets of the insurance and risk management arena. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and he is admitted to the New York State Bar. Bradley’s personal work takes him to places all over the country, and through interactions with people in so many places, it became obvious to him that too many communities are made up of people who are in need. He joined the Step Up team because he wanted to expand his influence and make a difference in any way that he can. He believes a career in the nonprofit sector focused on helping others and the passion of like-minded people — our staff especially — is contagious. Serving on the board of Step Up has truly grounded him and made him realize that assisting others is one of the most important pursuits in life. Bradley joined the Step Up board because understanding its mission of keeping people in affordable housing is critical in reducing homelessness in society. Given his clear vision of the potential of this organization and his personal experience, Bradley is well equipped to guide Step Up in expanding our capabilities and delivering greater services to the community.
